Connection Groups
 We have a small group for people of all ages and walks of life.  For Jr. High students we offer a program of biblical instruction on themes relevant to teens and a time of interactive fun games/sports. For Jr. High students to grow deeper in their understanding of God through worship, mutual encouragement and biblical instruction. We meet on Fridays from 7:00-8:30 PM @ Morningstar.  Our Friday night program is an opportunity for high school students to meet in a Christian Fellowship and Discipleship setting. As a regular part of the evening, students come to hang-out with each other, build long-lasting friendships with others and with their leaders. They also meet in Small Group Bible studies to discuss the Word of God and living out the Christian life in a secular culture. The gym is open during hang-out times, as well as pool, Ping-Pong, foosball, and video games. Once a month various excursions are embarked on, like paintball, BBQs, seasonal parties, etc. Students enjoy a warm and friendly environment where the Word of God is combined with their interests, styles, and rhythms of life. This is a ministry for young adults, usually between the age of 18 and 35 (but not always) and runs on Thursday nights.
TREC
TREC is our Sunday night teaching programme geared for adults and adolescents and specially designed to Train and Equip Christians to serve Christ in the world and the Church. God has blessed Morningstar with a team of highly gifted teachers who are committed to helping believers grow spiritually and discover their place of service in the church. TREC takes place three times per year: fall, winter and spring at 6:30 pm. Come and join us for an exciting semester of spiritual development and enrichment.
 Ever wonder how you could connect meaningfully with other Christians in a large church? Connections, our small groups ministry will put you in touch with 8 to 10 other members who are serious about their faith walk and will help you relate meaningfully with them as you meet regularly in the informal setting of members' homes.
