Morningstar Christian Fellowship and the Pregnancy Care Centre work together in a joint outreach program that bridges relationships between MCF families with moms and families who feel alone in an unexpected pregnancy.
PCC's Vision: We envision a city where no woman faces an unexpected pregnancy alone; where parents have access to care, support, and community; and where mothers, fathers, and their unborn children are treasured by all.
Mission: The Pregnancy Care Centre provides compassionate community support so Toronto families facing an unexpected pregnancy can thrive and not see abortion as their only option.
The Pregnancy Care Centre will be at MCF with the following scheduled activities:
1)PCC Information Tables: April 8th, 2018
Following both Sunday services, information about the PCC will be available.
2)Healing Conversations Video Session with the PCC: April 15th, 2018
How can the church speak mercy, forgiveness, healing, and grace a woman who has had an abortion, so she can embrace the freedom and love promised to all who trust in Jesus Christ? The video “Healing Conversations” is designed to answer that question; to inform and educate on the realities of abortion in Canada, introduce ways the Canadian church can approach this subject. Following the video, Linda Baartse and Paulette Smalling of the Pregnancy Care Centre will facilitate a short information session to equip those who want to help a friend or co-worker receive abortion recovery care.
Pregnancy Care Centre Training: May 14th, 2018 @ 7-9PM
Pregnancy Care Centre Training session in Fellowship Hall; For all who want to know how to dialogue with a friend or family member considering abortion. This also the first step of volunteer training if you have interest in serving on the Morningstar Pregnancy Care Center support team.
