Senior
Pastor
Robert MacGregor joined our Pastoral Team in 2007 as Interim pastor, then in
2009 he was called to be Senior Pastor. He and his wife Eleanor have four grown
children. Bob has trained pastors with "Leader For" in Central America, India
and Uganda. His delight and ministry focus is bible preaching, leadership
development and ministry expansion in the GTA and globally. |

Family Ministries Division Leader
Dennis Campbell and his wife, Jackie, joined our Pastoral Team in 1996. The Campbells are from St. Vincent and came to Morningstar from Vancouver after Dennis completed theological studies at Regent College. Before entering the ministry he worked as a Graphic Artist. Past experience in Children’s and International Student ministries have prepared Dennis to work with young people and families. The Campbells have two children. |

Worship Ministries Division Leader
Dave Hunt and his wife Debbie and their children Brad, Mark and Caralyn have their roots in Morningstar. Dave and Debbie grew up here and were part of the church’s youth group in the 1970's. Dave began his full time ministry in the 80's at Parkdale Baptist Church, Belleville, ON and after several years of fruitful ministry, the Lord led them to First Baptist Church Zeeland, MI where they enjoyed more than five years of service seeing First Baptist double in size through a dynamic preaching, discipling and music ministry. |

Outreach Ministries Division Leader
Mario Villanueva, the most recent addition to our team of Pastors and his wife Raquel began serving at Morningstar in August of 2005. Mario was born into a Christian home in Sultan Kudarat, a Muslim enclave in the southern Philippines. Since 1993 Mario and Raquel were serving as church planting missionaries with SEND International in Madrid, Spain. In addition to planting a church among Spaniards, they have also helped a group of Filipinos reach out to the more than 30,000 Filipinos who live in Madrid. The Villanueva's have three children. |

Children Ministries Director
Scott Pifer, joined our team of Pastors in 2002. Scott, his wife Diane and their children, Jaymee and Shayne hail originally from London, ON, where Scott felt the Lord calling him in to the Children’s Ministries. After four years of a successful growing ministry at Northstar Fellowship Baptist Church in Quesnel, BC, Scott was called by Morningstar to give leadership to a dynamic and exciting Children’s Ministry at Morningstar. |

Student Ministries Director
Jason Hagen grew up in Timmins, Ontario, and joined the Ministry Team in 2007. He came to know the Lord through the preaching ministry of Pastor John Mahaffey here at Morningstar in 2002. Since that time both he and his wife Simone have been members at Morningstar. Before entering into full time ministry Jason worked as a retail manager. Prior to joining the team at Morningstar Jason served in a variety of ministries, as a youth intern in Cambridge and an evangelism intern with Toronto Challenge in 2006, which prepared Jason to work with teens and young adults. Jason gives oversight to our Jr & Sr High Ministries, as well as our Young Adult Ministry (College and Careers). |

Pastoral Care Division Leader
Jim Trueman joined our ministry team in November 2008 as the Interim Leader of the Pastoral Care Division. Jim’s responsibilities include overseeing the Connection, Stephen and Member Care Ministries of Morningstar. He is a graduate of Ontario Bible College and has in the past served as the Chairman of the board of Emmanuel International Canada. Jim and his wife Judy have two sons, Mark and Michael. |

Administration (Pastor) Division Leader
Ray Townsend and his wife Lorraine joined Morningstar in October 2006. Ray is a graduate of Heritage Seminary (Cambridge) with a Master of Theological Studies degree. Ray also served as Chairman of the Elder Board of Park Bible Church (now Compasspoint), and, as Administrative Pastor at Calvary Church in St. Catharines. Formally a business person, after graduation, he dedicated himself to full time ministry. The Townsends relocated from Burlington to Markham in June 2007. |

Director School of Music
Rob Robinet joined our Ministry Team in 2003 as a Worship Intern. He began his full time ministry the following year directing the School of Music as well as giving leadership to the worship bands and orchestra. Rob, originally from Stratford ON met his wife Jenny at Morningstar. They have the most beautiful baby girl in the world, Madeline, who is loved by many! |
