| | Dave Hunt | | Executive Director | | Dave and his wife Debbie and their children Brad, Mark and Caralyn have their roots in Morningstar. Dave and Debbie grew up here and were part of the church’s youth group in the 1970’s. He began his full time ministry in the 80’s at Parkdale Baptist Church, Belleville, ON and after several years of fruitful ministry, the Lord led the family to First Baptist Church Zeeland, MI. | | Dennis Campbell | | Family Ministries Director | | Dennis Campbell and his wife, Jackie, joined our Pastoral Team in 1996. The Campbells are from St. Vincent and came to Morningstar from Vancouver after Dennis completed theological studies at Regent College. Before entering the ministry he worked as a Graphic Artist. Past experience in Children’s and International Student ministries have prepared Dennis to work with young people and families. The Campbells have two children. | | Email Me |

| Mario Villanueva | | Outreach Ministries Director | | Mario Villanueva, and his wife Raquel began serving at Morningstar in August of 2005. Mario was born into a Christian home in Sultan Kudarat, a Muslim enclave in the southern Philippines. Since 1993 Mario and Raquel were serving as church planting missionaries with SEND International in Madrid, Spain. In addition to planting a church among Spaniards, they have also helped a group of Filipinos reach out to the more than 30,000 Filipinos who live in Madrid. | | Scott Pifer | | Life and Ministry Development Director | | Scott Pifer and his wife Diane joined our ministry team in 2002 after faithfully serving in church leadership in British Columbia, and Southwestern Ontario. Scott is passionate about the care and development of people and helping them to integrate into the life of the church. He finds great joy to encourage, equip, and empower people to be living out God’s purpose for His glory – to live missional lives! At this time part of Scott’s key areas of ministry leadership include: First Principles Leadership Training & the People Path; Membership Class; Spiritual Gifts Analysis & Ministry Placement; and Membership Care. | | Jason Hagen | | Student Ministries Director | | Jason Hagen grew up in Timmins, Ontario, and joined the Ministry Team in 2007. He came to know the Lord through the preaching ministry of Pastor John Mahaffey here at Morningstar in 2002. Since that time both he and his wife Simone have been members at Morningstar. Before entering into full time ministry Jason worked as a retail manager. Prior to joining the team at Morningstar Jason served in a variety of ministries, as a youth intern in Cambridge and an evangelism intern with Toronto Challenge in 2006, which prepared Jason to work with teens and young adults. | Ray Townsend | | Administration Director | | Ray Townsend and his wife Lorraine joined Morningstar in October 2006. Ray is a graduate of Heritage Seminary (Cambridge) with a Master of Theological Studies degree. Ray also served as Chairman of the Elder Board of Park Bible Church (now Compasspoint), and, as Administrative Pastor at Calvary Church in St. Catharines. Formally a business person, after graduation, he dedicated himself to full time ministry. The Townsends relocated from Burlington to Markham in June 2007. | | Email Me |
| | Rob Robinet | | Worship / School of Music Director | Rob Robinet originally from Stratford ON, joined the Morningstar Ministry Team in 2003 as a Worship Intern. After becoming the Director of the School of Music in 2004 Rob met his wife Jenny at Morningstar and they now have two beautiful girls. As the current Worship Director Rob gives oversight to the Worship Ministries division and our School of Music. His passion is to use the tools of worship arts to proclaim the gospel and give glory to God. He also has the desire to train others, equipping them with the skills they need to serve the Lord with excellence.

| | Lloyd Henry | | Community Life Ministries Director | Lloyd and his wife Theresa(Terry) have made MCF their Church home since 1989.He has been involved in several church ministries including Fellowship, Missions, Social Concerns and Community baby blessing Committees. Starting in 1994, Lloyd has been a Deacon, Coach and Group leader for Connection groups. He believes that one of the keys to personal spiritual maturity and a fulfilling community life, within MCF, is to belong to a Connection Group. Lloyd is a retired accountant.

| Jannah Mair | | Children's Ministries Director | Jannah grew up in a Christian home, accepted God’s gift of salvation at the very young age of 5 and was baptized at 12.
Shortly thereafter her family was called into missions and they moved to Hungary. Upon the families return to Canada Jannah was involved in a short term mission’s project working with the orphans in Haiti.
In 2006 Jannah graduated from Niagara College with a General Arts and Science Diploma concentrating in social work. Then onto Brock University where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth. She received her teacher’s certificate in primary education at University of Otago in New Zealand.
Over the years she has been involved in church ministry as camp director for junior and senior camps, Sunday school teacher, pioneer club leader, youth leader, worship team and a member on the ladies committee.
God has given Jannah a heart for children and a passion to serve the Lord in His Church. One of the focuses of her ministry will be to develop relationships not only with the children but parents as well, and to work alongside parents as they seek to raise their children in the ways of the Lord.
