Even though our church building is closed and individuals and families have been told to remain at home as much as possible, Morningstar is committed to continuing to minister to our members and the wider community. Our mandate and goal of building up the body of Christ has never been more important.
We have put together some virtual opportunities for you and your family to continue to lean into Jesus, with others, without having to leave your home. Here is the weekly schedule of online ministries and programs that you can participate in as individuals and families:
Sunday 9am & 11am: Livestream
Join us for our LiveStream SERVICE at 9am &11am.
The Live stream will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to the start of the service at 8:50 am and 10:50 am. Sunday 12:30pm: Q&A
Q&A with Pastor Justin on Facebook Live at the conclusion of the 11am service. You will need a Facebook account to participate in this interactive discussion based on the sermon.
Sunday 7pm: Story Time for Kids
Story Time for Kids and their parents with Karmin our Children’s Ministry Director. Here’s a wonderful opportunity to close out the day for your kids. Join Karmin as she live steam on Morningstar Website, App and Facebook page.
Monday 7pm: Family Devotion with the Huffmans
Join Pastor Justin and his family as they livestream from their home and get a taste of how they lead their family devotional time. Use the Morningstar Website or Facebook page to connect with the Huffmans.
Tuesday 6:30pm: Awana
Awana is back live online! Parents please contact Karmin at email@example.com for more information on how your kids and you can participate in this very exciting discipleship program.
Wednesday 6:30pm:Play and Sing-along with the Robinet Family
1. Download the songs from the Morningstar website.
2. Grab your instrument of choice (Doesn’t matter what it is, guitar, kitchen spoons or pots and pans, banjo, violin, saxophone, ect…)
3. Play and sing along!
4. Enjoy a time midweek worshipping together, letting go and having fun as a family.
