Abilities at Morningstar

Bringing the community & church together to strengthen our shared responsibility for the inclusion of people with disabilities

Come and serve under one of the most rewarding and humbling ministries there is!

AODA TRAINING

In 2005, the Ontario government passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The act is the first of its kind in Canada implementing mandatory accessibility standards and it applies to both private and public sector businesses and organizations. This includes places of worship and organizations with as few as one employee. Morningstar Christian Fellowship is committed to providing its staff, Elders, and volunteers with training not only to maintain compliance with the law, but because we believe we are mandated to serve and welcome people of all abilities into the Body of Christ.

REQUEST AODA TRAINING FOR YOUR CHURCH

Morningstar Christian Fellowship has developed an AODA training that captures all of the requirements that must legally be represented. In addition, our training is Christ-centered, and provides a Biblical perspective on why we should be intentionally serving those within our churches and communities with disabilities.
